You need unique content to get listed in search engines so you need to rewrite almost all of the content by hand. There are many comments in their forum about the format of the data feeds. Pipe delimited and rather hard to work with (again, in my opinion).
The stock site (eg your_choice.2u.co.uk) can NOT be edited, so no unique content there and the robots.txt file stops search engines indexing it so you cant get listed either, so you need your own domain. Then you really need to pay for the Instant Autopilot software to really take advantage of the feeds you are provided with, unless you\'re a programmer or have the site ready to tweak. Even then IAP is very limited as to what you can do with it. A basic WYSIWYG editor and a bunch of built in scripts to download the datafiles. All encoded so you can’t read the code you’ll be working with. You still need to edit the descriptions etc by hand to get your unique content indexed with a reputable place in the rankings.
Rather blunt and sometimes unhelpful comments in the forum leave you with little hope of success when you are already struggling with your new site...
Still with them for the moment but have started to look for alternatives.
Oh, and the £30 per connection? You get charged a £5 admin fee per month if you make any sales.
